We arrived at Bass Lake Campground in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina on Friday. We settled in and decided to rest for the next few days.

The campsite is great, with a very nice view of the lake and plenty of space, the weather is beautiful, the lake is stocked with fish and there is plenty of time to knit, so we have no complaints. I am sure there are lots of things to see in the area, but we are taking a time out, and it feels good 🙂

I would emphazise the word “trying” in Bear trying to catch a fish. An is it just the camera or is the lake flurecent green?

I know it does look green, it was greenish but not as bad as on the picture, the water level is low because of the drought in the area, but the water was clear enough to see fish in the water.

He didn’t catch anything, the fish didn’t like his flies I guess…
