Georgia has gorgeous sunsets, and we were lucky enough to witness those over lake Oconee, right from our campsite in North Shore Resort near Greensboro, GA.

I fell in love with the area, enough to say I would like to move there, it is rapidly developing right now, lots of new houses under construction. The area is beautiful and lake Oconee is one of the largest lakes in GA, if not the largest one.

I found a good hairdresser and a YARN SHOP! I was in Hog Heaven!

Debra Mayson, the owner was kind enough to put up with me for two days in a row, while I was indulging myself by touching yarn and reading books, talking knitting with someone who knew what I was talking about! She even had a flat HDTV in the store, so bear was able to watch his Clint Eastwood movie while I was having some serious fun with my new girlfriend! 🙂

Debra and her husband had bought land in the area with the idea of retiring there one day, but with all the traffic and stress related to life in Atlanta, she was searching for a way to speed up things, she finally decided that opening a yarn shop was a good idea, they are in the process of building a new house and a realizing a dream.
